Question to Bartolomeu: Does Bartolomeu eventually get somewhat rich-ish in your main quest? I was thinking perhaps you could change his outfit to SuperDurnius' custom texture once Bartolomeu becomes more succesful? I was also thinking of updating Jack Sparrow's character model as the Jack Sparrow quest progresses. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

And you might use model from morgan the terror files in FTP, where is jack with hat...
 
We've got dozens of different Jacks already. The normal one, one with coat and hat, one with just the hat, a whole bunch of officer versions, a young version, a bunch of navy versions, EITC officer, etc. What were you planning on doing with Jack? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Then you can just add a line <i>GiveModel2Player("Jack",true);</i> in a quest case and the pchar model will be updated immediately. Also you get the model in your inventory so you can switch to another model and switch back again. If you use <i>GiveModel2Player("Jack",false);</i>, you do get the model in your inventory, but it's not shown on the player until you select it manually.

Still not thought of anything for Jack.

But, from the code you thought up Pieter, could that be applied to, for example, Artois Voisey when he is found nearly beat to death on Coneicao.
In the town outscirt scene assign him a beat up model ,.... then after he has returned to the ship , give him a bandaged model, ( black eye & cuts maybe),.... then by time give him back his good model (recovered ). Also he could tell you of his secret when he has recovered.

Or have I not understood the code correctly.

The code I wrote is specifically for changing the player's model, but changing an NPChar's model can also be done. I usually do that with a line like:<!--c1--><div class='codetop'>CODE</div><div class='codemain'><!--ec1-->Characters[GetCharacterIndex("James Norrington")].model = "Cpnorrington";<!--c2--></div><!--ec2-->In this particular case, the line is used to "promote" James Norrington during the film quest. It should also be possible to change Artois' model to a beat-up one. Not with this code is that it doesn't take effect immediately but only after the next scene change. But that shouldn't be too much of a problem, I think, as long as you add the line in the proper place.

Another thing we could use: An Elizabeth Swann model with pants. Right now we use the "50_Becka" model for Elizabeth when she has to look more "piratey", but that model doesn't actually look like Elizabeth. The only model that does look like Elizabeth is "Liza".
