Gothic 3

I can hardly wait for Gothic 3. It will be issued at October 13th for US and Europe in English version. The series of Gothic - Gothic, Gothic 2 and now Gothic 3 are my best games I have played. yeap. a realy cool RPG game. in fact, i think that Gothic and elder scrolls are the best games series ever. by default i'm a rpg addicted <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />
i felt a little bit disapointed by the Oblivion (maybe my expectation were too high-but it's still a good game) and now i hope gothic3 will be as great as gothic, gothic2+die nacht des raben.

so... all i have to do is... wait (for the postman to ring at me door)

TES3 - Morrowind pwnd Gothic2+night of the raven, but i think Gothic3 will pwn Oblivion. Oblivion is a very cut ted game, the world is small, not enough quests, game engine is Unreal Engine3 without all the new stuff <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> no soft shadows and very unoptimized.

Its amazing how many companies lie to their customers, Oblivion - Gamebryo? Its pure Unreal Engine, just checkout the config files it has 1:1 UE, tons of mods to echanse the graphics, why do you think they cutted soft shadows? Epic said "Untill Unreal Tournament 2007 is out no 100% working UE 3.0".

GuildWars, in-house engine made by ArenaNet? So why are all the textures in UE format.

Well, the game is out... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Not a bad game, I must say... and if it really has the replay value it claims to have, it was worth the price!

gothic 3 is still a good game if u download community patch because without patch its mindless hack and slash with a lot of dialog and skills and u also face lots of bugs
without patch i played it 2 times with the patch i played it 6 time without stop warrior, mage, archer, hybrids also in the end u nearly get all spec

Risen was based on the Gothic 3 engine right? Been meaning to try the Gothic series but the bad reviews have really put me off! Not sure how anyone can call the Oblivion world small.. Skyrim yes but Oblivion is not small IMO.. But if you're saying that then that must mean the Gothic 3 world is immense and will need to try it hehe.. although there is 2 sides to a big game world.. the actual scale in terms of walking distance and then there is how much actual content is in it.. I think I would settle for content before map size any day!
