Governor Pirate Quest / Purloines ships...

Hi all,

is there any trick about the above mentioned quests?

e.G. that Governor 'hunt the random pirate' quest...
I got that one and attacked ANY pirate ship I found on the map, didn't complete the quest though. Can it be another ship than a pirate one?

Than that purloined ship quest... They simply NEVER appear...
I also never get that message from the port master, that he's seen the ship. Is there any trick about this?

1. Use the quick sail option to sail to the ships that are available as well as the other areas. When you sail to a ship eventually one will turn into a pirate ship and you will beforced into battle. Sink or board and you complete the quest.

2. The "find the ship missions" suck and I dont even take them any more. If you do have one, look for a ship with orange sail on the world map.
