I have some graphical errors while playing the game. The coastline looks especially bad when looking at it from a little higher does everybody has this problem or is it just me.

Looks to me like you either are having a graphics card problem, or you might not have enough RAM. Need a little info, and hopefully we can troubleshoot this for you.

What are your system stats? (chipset, RAM, graphics card, &tc.)

Also, are you running Build 11?

And do you have the European patch installed?

My specs are
Athlon 1800
Ati radeon 9600 Pro 128MB --> updated to the latest drivers (also had this problem with older drivers)
512 MB ram (333MHz)
windows 2000
The problem occurs in a normal potc and in the build (11) wich is very kewl but a little to easy. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dev.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":d:" border="0" alt="dev.gif" />
I have the european version (have the european patch installed from the build setup)

give me 2 minutes and it is over. the build version is way to easy.

Flyerken, what level are you playing at? If it's too easy, raise the difficulty level.

Talk to one of your `tavern-hired` officers and tell him, "I don't feel right in this world" (or whatever that statement is) and you will be given an opportunity to raise the difficulty level of the game. Swashbuckler is the highest - and pretty tough. Try that, I'm sure you will be having more fun with the Build game once you have it on a level where you can truly find a challenge. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
 
How do i set the `Z-buffer` depth??
I tried the game at both 32 and 16 bit color --> same result
I tried tio find some `Z-buffer` options but i can't seem to find it anywhere
