I have a problem with build 14a6 alot of the time when i board or a ship surrenders and i have to speak to the captain it says, "who tries to talk to dead people, hamlet maybe" or somthing like that and i cant leave so i have to reload my game is there a way to fix it?

Yeah i've tried to get it working about 3 times with no luck so i decided to stay with alpha 6.

Isn't there anything i can do about it with getting alpha 7

Possible, but I don't know how. It'd be a lot of work. Better to just wait until a next release, I think. I'm going to try to make a Build 13.1, based on Build 13.1 but with some stable Alpha content added. Pirate_KK is working on Alpha 8, which he won't release until it's good. Perhaps I'll also go and try to add all stable stuff on top of Alpha 6, making a better Alpha version as well.
