Hi All

The title says it all really. The last UK launch date appearing on Game, HMV and others was today, but a quick ring round found nothing but "What? Never heard of it....".

I note that both Game and HMV's websites have now been updated to something more vague (i.e. they quote the date released - a month ago in HMV's case - but still say preorder...).

So, anyone found it here in Blighty yet ?
 
I'm wondering the same thing about the Netherlands too. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />
 
Oh no! I was sure you would have it by now Pieter - sincerely hope it appears soon, otherwise we will both have to resort to importing it too. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
 
[sarcasm]Considering how wonderfully Playlogic has handled this title, I'd say you should be getting your copies of the game last week.[/sarcasm]

Honestly folks, I really hope the game shows up in your countries soon. But failing that, you should be able to find import copies from the US pretty easy. I ordered mine from Amazon and had the game within about 4 days.

Ive had it for a week as i work in a large warehouse ,we distribute them to the shops
 
Agreed Cap'n Drow, I would have pre-ordered from Amazon but in the past have generally found I am waiting for pre-ordered games to show up days after the shops had them :)

And thanks to you as well Cap'n TY - that's an excellent price too, think I'll order... Well, might wait until tomorrow, just in case someone local has it by then and I can save 3 days...

Ahhh.....so there are actually real copies in the UK waiting to be distributed then !? I'll order from gameplay if the release date is accurate. Thanks for the heads-up Cpt Ty.
 
You know what the weirdest is about this game not being released in the UK and the Netherlands? Playlogic is a Dutch/British company! If I don't get a release date soon, I am going to import this game from Germany!

Looks like the 12th June release date in the UK is slipping by too now <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> I pre-ordered it at Gameplay and while they still estimate dispatch on 10th-11th June for the release date it certainly hasn't left Gameplay today as the account info. still says "pre-ordered". I've used Gameplay a lot in the past and they <i>always</i> send the game out first class the day before release if it is in stock - thats not the case this time so looks like the release will be moved again - ho hum! Anyone else who ordered from Gamplay heard anything ?
 
Uh-oh - Gameplay just moved my order to "Backordered" and there's a new release estimate of 19th June now!! I cancelled the order and will be shipping it in via the US - given up on a UK release.
 
That sucks, Rummy. Well from the time I ordered mine through Amazon.com (US), it was on its way to me within about 2 or 3 days at most. I had it in something like 4 or 5 days. Didn't take long at all. Considering international shipping time, figure it will be maybe a week and a half to get to you.

Missing files? What do you mean there, Cap'n TY? That the files for the game itself are missing? Like in the program directory?

Nothing in France neither, really nothing, but Europe doesn't like us because of the nasty corsican dwarf <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />
 
Oi! What a mess they've made of things with that. You'd think Playlogic could get it all straight for once.
