[HELP] Can't get the GM exporter to work in Maya 9

I've been working with some of the models in Maya 9 by exporting them to .obj in the GM Viewer but unfortunately the GM export utility doesn't appear to be working in my version. Every time I try to export a model I only get the default maya types even though I've correctly extracted the bin/script folders for the exporter.

The maya plugins are for Maya 4.0/4.5 ONLY. they will NOT work correctly in older or newer versions.
