[HELP] CoAS quest chest fest

Now i need to give some demanding women goodies in exchange for the stuff i need to sail away from this city. The alcoholic one asks 2 bottles of wine, lute, and 10 grapes. The other asks 10 bags of salt. I dont have these Items, and it seems i cant find them in chests either. Before, the chests were full of these stuff, which i didnt find usefull then. There was chest with 50+ lutes, 100+wines, chests filled with salt and grapes, and all kind of stuff. But at some point, all the chests i can unlock became empty. I dont know what to do, the store doesnt have these stuff for sale.

Please help
 
thanks, i found the lute, wine and grapes, but still i cant find ten bags of salt. In the ship there are two chests one which i can open and in which i found grapes and lute, and the other which i cant open.Is that he one with salt?
 
thays nice.... I hav every key except the one you get adter dominic legro quest.. but i cant trigger that quest, no martter what i do he doesnt offer me quest. Any help on this matter?
 
I think you have refused accidentaly his quest before. This is how I get my keys: 1. Life on Esmeralda-Pedro Hurtado
2.-Lying on the floor of the ship wrecked in two that supports the St.Agustin, you can reach only swimming.
3-Inside of a chest (small room crowded with clanners) in the St.Gabriel, Casper's Clan base. Short run unarmed, grab the key and ran away to the outside, they're invincible at the beginning, mortals in advance.
More suggestions:
4.On some wood crates in Velasco's deck, Narval's Clan base
Search these places. They contain all keys (1. is quest).
I never did Dominic Legro or Taylor quest and found all the keys. So this is it. You'll find all keys and have 2 keys of a type (because I gave you 4 suggestions), but search them all.
 
I finished the quest. I decided to re-load previous save.The closest good save was on the part where i killed carpenter, so i continued from there. I finnaly finished this quest. thanks for help
 
The "take the quest NOW or lose it forever" approach was already old in the midle 90s :ng. Akellaaaaaaa! For pity sake! Can we have some REAL quest system in your next game?

If there will be a new pirate game... If you actually refuse all quests from everyone in CoAS, you won't be able to finish the quest. I think without the walkthrough, we all would've been lost. Many thanks, @skodarap!
 
While we are on this topic, let me share a thing or two. It may be important, it may be not.
I have 3 player chars. and have done the CoAS quest 2 times. After both when I go to a store, I am teleported to a sacrificial temple and need 5 million to get out.
Just curious, if it was just my playthrough or is that normal.

Oh man are you screwed. There was a nasty looking demon guy there right?

So here's what happened.... you failed to pay back one or more money lenders and now you're cursed.

If you can go back to an earlier save and then sail to and pay back the money lender and apologize and make nice with him as quickly as possible, you may be able to avoid getting teleported. If you've done this with multiple money lenders, you're gonna have a hard time.

Lesson to be learned....pay your debts.

I see, I always borrow max amount of 1 million from the moneylender at the City of Ships. I figured since they are all going to drown, it would have been all good. Thx for the info. Now I know.:]
