How to enter Curacao as English privateer ?

I want to continue " kill the beggars" and enter Curacao (dutch) port - as England is in war with Holland even if I reconciled and bought trading licence (30 days for 130 000) fort opens fire if I try ..
When I enter town via land soldiers are also hostile ...

I'm having trouble a) finding the brig that I'm supposed to board, and b) if it's the "Orangemen" in the harbor, I can't engage the thing under the dutch flag. Game wont' let me change flags, nor will ramming the ship do anything. Jesus, this is driving me frigging nuts!

How do I get that damned ship! Oh....please....<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

But when you are in the town guards see you if they come close enough. And during the day there are lots of guards.
And this reminds me to ask - can I kill those guards (I mean are they not too much) and what will happen after that?

Go pirate port, tavern and reconcile or buy trade licence for x days.
Might need to do both.
After that when asked by the guards say about trade licence.

Well you can switch to 1st person view and just fire the gun manually. That'll make your rep go down, though, because you attacked while under a friendly flag.
