How to install build 14a7 properly

Here is how you should install build 14a7:
- Stock POTC
- (Build 12.1)
- Build 13
- Build 13 update 3
- Build 14 a6
- Build 14 a7
- Fix build 14a7 (updated, now NOT neccesary to copy sound.h, it is included) (click link for download)

EDIT: Err. actually I realised you have to delete it. Anywho I still get the same error.

Do I need to replace the Music files with the ones that are for Alpha7 only?
 
same thing here... i also still get the error message... i even tried reinstalling it all... i really wanna see all those new things

That is the error I get in the log. Hence why I assumed that I need to install the new Music files.
Also I noticed that Sound.h isn't in PROGRAM/Sound/
 
How did you extract it, the program map should be in: C:/Program files/Bethset.../Pirates of the Caribbean
where engine.exe is.
 
i did extract it to the right folder, though i call it e:\spil\pirates of the caribbean instead... but that shouldnt make any difference, should it?
 
Yeah I overwrote the file you meantioned and made sure of it. Still no good.
I think it is because Sound.h is missing. I can't find it anywhere.
 
also thomas, cant you see if you have a sound.h file in your game, and if you do, then upload it?

not to be bossy, but if it fixes the problem it would be sweet

This was the one that I used.

Also did 14A6 work for you? If it did then you shouldn't need to worry about Build 13 Update 3.
 
I have a sound.h file. I recommend that BEFORE you install 14a7 that you copy the SOUND.h file, then install 14a7, paste the sound.h back where it was, and then extract my fix.
