Long time no see in these waters. Nice to have you back! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doff.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":doff" border="0" alt="doff.gif" />

We are pretty close to releasing Build 13, but so we were several weeks ago. Most bugs we have fixed, but not everything. And some new ones have been found that are most likely caused by fixes that are not working properly or are not added properly. I will keep working on Build 13 and I am still hoping to release it very soon. However, I need to devote more time to schoolwork and less time to PotC-work the coming weeks, because I need to finish some things for school. This means that Build 13 might be delayed a bit. I will still try to work on it when I can and I hope to at least release Beta 3 this weekend. With a bit of luck Beta 3 will be properly stable and we would be able to declare that Build 13.

At the moment I am doing the merging of Build 13 on my own. I do have some support from Maximus and Hook, but the final merging is done by me. It would be great if somebody else could assist in the merging as well. That would make it much easier. Sometimes I'm really confused about which changes I should add and which ones not. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wacko:" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />
 
Pieter, i'm probably too new/unexperienced with PotC modding, but if you need a hand with long playtesting sessions on the code you hope will be ready to be declared build 13, i have LOTS of free time to dedicate.

My main problem is i will not know what mods have gone into the build and who did them, so in terms of organisation i'm probably not the best deck-hand. But if you throw files my way(or point me in their direction) i can put atleast 5 hours a day into testing, bug checking etc. Its probably easier to contact me here if you think i can help, i'm here more than i check my mail <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

If you would like to test something that needs testing, please go <a href="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/index.php?s=&showtopic=5586&view=findpost&p=165656" target="_blank">here</a> and download and test the file I attached to that post. I need that file tested. I know there's at least one bug in there with the tutorial, but you should be able to play the game when skipping the tutorial on the ship. I want to know if there are any other obvious and bad bugs in there that will need fixing.

I'm sorry. I tried to attach a different file to my forum post, but apparently something went wrong, so everybody ended up confused. I will upload a new version to test tomorrow, I think. In the meantime, please test Beta 2 and keep in mind that boardings are bugged for a bit in that version. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

Hopefully soon! The ammo mod bugs are largely quelled; mostly quest bugs are what remain. If they can fix any remaining main quest bugs, I would like to see the build released. Side quest bugs and whatever else IMO could wait for build 14?

Unfortunately, no. We've found quite some weirdness and I am too busy at the moment to do PotC work, so that doesn't help either. I hope that I can get back into business in 1,5 week or so and I'll try to get it done as fast as I can then, because I'll probably be busy with schoolwork again after that.
