I can't go to the world map!!!

Hi! I have POTC build mod 14 alpha 7 installed and EVERY time when i try to go to the world map the game drops me to windows. I can't even leave the first island!!! What should I do?

sounds almost like you're having problems with playing the first video clip. does the game crash at midnight when on the worldmap? do you even have the video clip in your PotC video directory?

How did you do your installation? From POTC: stock to Build14Alpha7???

you mean build 13 final. build 14 alpha 6 is unstable, and alpha 7 is highly unrecommendable.

it could be. sometimes video cards just go bitchy. they just don't like the game.

My video card is ATI Radeon X1250 128 mb

one more question: I can't aim in the "high" targets like forts. I changed a option in config file for high range but there was no change after doing that <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> how to fix it?

Did you start a new game after making that change? You might need to.

Try pressing F11 and see if that works.
The game indeed uses a program code similar to C.
