I need help with Ines Dias's tool: Mixing Feature

Croaker

Landlubber
I am attempting to learn how to swap heads so I can have different outfits for my character.

Extras>Mix Characters, opens a small window with two pulldowns for selecting two models. There is also a mix button. I select the two characters, and hit mix. Then it says 'Done'.

Unfortunatly I see no evidence of anything that happened. Did it save a new model somewhere? The view screen is still blank with no new mixed model

This is what the help file says....

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Extras
In the Extras menu you find the commands for

raising a character model's arms
character mixing (exchanging heads)
dividing a model up into separate meshes (experimental!)
raising the coordinates of an inside location by a fixed amount
downloading the latest version of this tool
starting plugins<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Not a very helpfull help file.

Thank you SuperD for pointing me to the mixed folder. I found some results there. Nothing too good so far. The model heights seem mismatched. Hard to believe people were masters of this back in 04. I really do feel like im reinventing a wheel. Im just goofing around killing time until the real modders get to work on CoAS. I really hope a lot of the cool stuff from build 14 can be upgraded to the new engine.

But it won't be easy and will be a lot of hard work. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />
