Ok this is what happened.
Earlier today i went up towards the monk in oxbay and took the combat abilities cross, i thought yea cool i can finally rule some pirates with my cutlass, i then relised i couldnt save. I sailed to doewesen looking for the monk, couldnt find him then i relised that he was on coniceao. I sailed their found the monk and gave it back. After giving it back i noticed that my red life meter suddenly turned black. I went to the character menu and saw that my character had 0/1 health, that was the first wierd thing, then i went into coniceao town and looked at my character screen hoping it would be back to normal. Isntead of 0/1 it was now 1/1 i figured the game was playing triks on me so i let a thug s tab me, and i died instantly. After attempting to reload my game at the point just before i gave the cross back. When it finished loading the screen went black and the game crashed.
I have since then tried to repeatedly reloading it all to no avail
I had a manowar, a battleship, 5000 acres of land, 10 officers all around level 30 and 19,000,000 gold, i had progressed in the country rankings far enough to start courting a woman, and i was at the part of the game where you have to get 'the teacher' out of prison
