How do I change the name "healing potion" to grog getting a blackish muddy color would be great too. I really like the rum and wine but the idea should be followed through. I always think of fantasy medieval sword and sorcery games when there are healing potions en masse.
I would also like to change the atwood saber so it would look more like Jack Sparrows (In the potc movie), a saber/cutlass with a dark handle, very much like the original saber.
I figure that Jack beign a true born rouge know that his sword will get swiped if it looks to fancy. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/diomed.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":dio" border="0" alt="diomed.gif" />
Also a disarm option in fencing would be fun. The opponent then disappearing as if defeated. By option I mean like the rush abÃlity. It should be based upon a fencing versus fencing contest. In game automatic sequences with opponents disarming you could spawn off many story tracks, escaping prison, being bought free by your crew, wife or that nobleman who wants a favor, etc. (I really like the lifeboat effect if you get sunk. Those near coastal raider frigates who just loves to kill innocent luggers.)
Last but not least. The swarthbuckler almost impossible boarding actions. I am lvl 12 and have just captured a lvl 66 pirate, who fought with no morale or crew sixe bonus but still per character got 500 hp+. This makes it impossible to use officers in a ship to ship fight. At all other levels my crew of lost souls has made short work of the enemy, but a swarthbuckler I am fighting alone cornered gulping down potions, trying to wear them down. I get increadible xp, about 2500 for every sword swipe. But taking the whole ship gives a realistic 3000. This seems to be out of proportions, it is way to easy to advance by swordplay. Are there other surprises at swarthbuckler I should be aware of? I really like facing the toughest AI, and calling yourself swarthbuckler is nearly worth the unreal boarding actions.
I really, seriously would like simple non to technical answers, please. I am a scripting moron, and has so far made a mess of every game I tried to mod.
Thank you for taking your time to read this.
