Hey guys! I'm back playing PotC for a while, don't know how long or how much. Doing a few small changes here and there.

I'm running Build 13 Final at the moment. I forgot how pretty this game was, and how much fun.

I kinda got burned out running the same sea battle over and over trying to figure out how to transfer the squadron leadership when that ship is sunk. I'm not sure, but it seems to be working in the build I'm using. I sure hope so, because it was annoying. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Looks like things are progressing nicely.

Welcome back Hook! Pirate_kk has made really great progress, just as Maximus, but in the latest build alpha, there are an insanely amount of bugs!

I've been looking through the bug tracker and the forum and have noticed a lot of bugs that have been around forever, as well as some new ones. Hat and I pulled a lot of all-nighters working feverishly trying to fix bugs in one release before Pieter released the next one. It's a lot easier to work on a stable code base like 13 Final, so I'll be concentrating on fixing bugs in that one for a while. I may eventually move to Build 14, but not in the near future.

This is great to see some old people coming back.
Even better, I'm going back home tomorrow and will soon be able to DO something again.

We have Build 14 Alpha 8 which contains lots of cool new stuff and lots of bugs as well.
I hope you will at least give it a try to see what we've got in the works.
We're not having enough people to fix all the bugs though,
so your help here would be most appreciated.

However, we're also planning on making a Build 13 Update 4 soon.
This will include mainly bugs and just new content that can be added without introducing bugs.
Think of ships, character models and some quests.
So if you choose to stay with Build 13 for now, we'll also make good use of your work!
And, of course, some of your fixes will help Build 14 Alpha 8 as well.

I was going to stick with Build 13, but Build 14 has some features that are just too nice to pass up. I've been playing B14 lately, and squashing bugs as I find them. I've got a bunch I haven't posted yet, and will get around to it in a couple of days.

Indeed it's very buggy at the moment, but the new stuff is sooo good.
