I'm stuck in Falaise de Fleur because of crashing

Hey there. I'm running Build13 Final and I'm having a problem. I began the main quest. Before heading back to Oxbay to spy I chose to do a side quest escorting a merchant to and from Redmond and Falaise de Fleur. I got there, forgot how to talk to merchant to progress the quest and went back to Redmond. I remembered what to do so I headed back to FDF. I met up with merchant in the store and then proceeded to escort him back to Redmond.

After I board my ship I then go to the map sailing mode. Once I enter this mode within the Island of FDF, a few seconds pass and the game freezes and then crashes to desktop. I tried again and it did the same thing. I tried again and used the time compression to see if I could work my way past the issue and it still crashed. I sailed to another ship off of the island so that it got me out to open water but as soon as I go to map mode to get out of there, it freezes and crashes again.

I loaded a previous save and took him to FDF again. But once I tried to leave, it crashes me again in the map mode. Walking around FDF is fine and I even went to a few locations and had a huge sword fight with a dozen people. So when I'm on land its fine. It just won't allow me to leave FDF without crashing. I'd rather not try sailing out of there in real time either especially if it ends up not working.

Can anyone help me out of this pickle? Or am like the Flying Dutchman doomed to sail the waters of Falaise de Fleur for all eternity? Thanks.
 
Well I decided to go ahead and install the latest build mod and start over. I really like a lot of the new features here.

Could someone please tell me where Port Royal is? The latest build changes the names of everything and according to my quest log, I must go and talk to the Governor of Port Royal.(This would be the Redmond of the default campaign) But there is no Port Royal on the map. Which Island am I supposed to go to to continue the main quest?
