Hello,
I have just discovered yet another glitch! So, I got bored and decided to start a new game, several hours later my ship got sunk and I was left only with a lifeboat. After ''escorting'' some merchants to their destination I got enough money to buy myself a Lugger, however, when I went to the ''Repaint Ship'' section it still showed me the paint of the Dinghey, I clicked it and clicked repaint, and my ship had turned into a Dinghey! When returning to the shipyard I saw that the Dinghey that I sold was there and my money had also decreased due to the transaction of the new ship.
I thought this was rather curious, so I decided to see if I can't manipulate this in other ways. So I reloaded my save and went to the shipyard again. I sold my Lifeboat, but decided not to buy anything and stopped talking to the Shipyard NPC, after that I started talking to it again and upon going to the repaint section (note I have no ship) I saw that I could repaint my ''ship'' (which was only the profile image of my character) to a Caravel!
Surely enough now I had a Caravel FOR FREE. I also sold the Caravel to the shipyard, repainted my ship to another Caravel and was able to sell that too.
