have installed build 13. now have b13 update. was advised to open pirate game file and extract it to there.
my question.
it gives the option of "extract here" and "extract to pirates of the carribean\b13_update1\"
which one??
also, it asked if i wanted to replace a file with 83000bites with 31000 bites.??
please help as I am not a high tech knowhow dude.

it doesn't really matter where you extract it. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> if you extract it to the PotC file, (the one you mentioned) the only difference it makes is that you don't have to move them into the game directory. it basically does the work for you! and if it asks if you want to overwrite, ALWAYS do so. it replaces the game file with the one needed for the build.

you sound suspiciously like a spy from the government when talking like that. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" /> come on, where bloody pirates! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

oh, try this out: having trouble getting started? go into a fort from land! gives you rediculous amounts of money, xp, and VERY high qaulity items. you will need the toughness perk for this and a lot of guts, but you'll manage. oh, and don't talk to the soldiers. talk to the rich civilians walking around. they can give you great bonuses varying from a top class officer, approx. 25000 gold, a letter of marque (not sure), and a hefty amount of fencing excersize. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> besides, it's much more rewarding than the maltese abbey in comparison to the risks. you can recognise the fort by the text: MILITARY AREA: and some kind of warning.
