Is there a reason why I can't install build mod 13

onto my D drive?
it only lets me install onto the c drive, but my game is installed on the d drive as C drive as no room.

Is there anyway i can fix this?

Is there no way you can change the instalation folder. There should (normally) be a browse button somewhere.

Basically I installed potc onto drive D, then when I select to install build onto the potc folder in drive D it says error and says I can't.

But I once had Potc installed on c drive and it worked fine then.

I dont understand why i cant install build on drive D now :s

Odd. This never happened to me. Does it give any reason, as to why it can't install it where you requested, or it's just saying it can't.

It just says build 13 can not be installed in the following directory.

Thanks for trying to help me =]

I wonder if any of the senior modders will pop in later to help.

I think I know why this happened: When you change the folder from the default, for some reason it adds "\Pirates of the Caribbean: Build 13" after the folder path you selected. This is wrong and should be deleted. This is also the reason for the error message: There can't be a ":" in the folder path. I don't know why it insists on adding this to the path; it's silly but I can't prevent it. Perhaps it's because that's the name of the archive. When extracting, it allways insists on naming the destination folder after the archive.

True. I just don't know WHY it does that. It's REALLY annoying. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

*next post will probably explain this <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />*

boy, that must be a really painful head you have now. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":))" border="0" alt="smile2.gif" />

be prepared. b14a6 is even bigger. altogether, it's just under 4 GB.

EDIT: i don't know wether this is a double post, but what the heck. i just realised you already have b14a6, so nevermind. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

There are plenty of free space on my harddrive, so it doesn't really matter for me. Although the download will be painfully slow.

4 GB? Aren't you overdoing it a bit? Or do you mean the game itself is over 4 GB after all mods are installed? That is true. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />
