Isla de Muerte

The higher the number, the more common they are. Value ranges from (almost) 0 to 1. You can also set the minimum level for the items to appear. That way you can prevent them from appearing early in the game completely.
 
hmm maybe just making the level higher would be the ticket. it seems if ya want to sail only in direct sail, you asre going to be stuck operating in your starting island or surrounding islands if htere are any exceptionally near till ya got yer navigation equipment.
 
Isla de Muerte is right where Peter said it was. It shows up on ALL MAPS if you have compass3. So far there is nothing there but some recycled landscape and caves, but it still looks cool and will be a great place for the 'Jack Sparrow' quest. Whoever did the mod, NICE JOB, keep it up!

In the secret of the far sea mod of AOP, there is a cave, that looks a lot like the Isla the Muerta cave. maybe we should reskin the animists cave.
 
There is at least two AoP location on Isla de Muerte: The cave and also the cabin inside the shipwreck.

Isla Mona, if I remember right. Most land locations are reused ones from PotC, but some are from AoP like I said in my previous post. However, all locations are now foggy. It might be fun to retexture the Isla de Muerte shores to a blackish colour like in the film, instead of the current normal but foggy shores.

why not just navigate by the sun/moon? it works perfectly well! i'm probably going to try out myself soon, as i now have a much faster internet connection to download the builds. beware! the ship with the red sails will be back to haunt the seas! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sailr.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":sail" border="0" alt="sailr.gif" />
 
How are you Guys landing on this island? i've circled it a hundred times and i haven't seen any landing icon or anything.

is there some special thing you have to do or something?

i'm playing on verison 14.7 and i've recieved the compass from gibbs. and when i sail there i don't get any landing icon when in sailing mode.

and as for ideas for the isle they should make a big open area somewhere there so one could make a pirate hideaway there if they chose using the "buildset" mod.
 
you need to have PBmodifications first. then go to tortuga tavern and look for someone sitting in thew back.
 
Alternatively add a line <i>GiveItem2Character(pchar,"compass3");</i> to PROGRAM\console.c (below <i>ref pchar = GetMainCharacter();</i>), load your savegame and press F12.
