It goes over to 10-30x time on Space-bar

Hello. I got a problem with my game. When I press Space-bar (when talking to people and when just exploring), the game goes over to 10-30x time, and I have to press R to go over to normal time. 10-30x time is set to G in the options. What should I do?

Try going into the options menu and reset the controls to default. That might solve it.

Thanks, man. That fixed it. I even reinstalled without thinking of it. Do i dare to chance the Rush-key to the 10-30x-key? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

I got some more questions, if you would please answer <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> When i press F, it says i don't have a powder-flask. What's that? And it also auto-equips my best weapons - how do i prevent it from doing that? Because i would like to try like my new quad-pistol, but it keeps changing back to my Excellent Long Pistol. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" /> Thanks in advance.

If you change the Rush key to [R], be sure to change the time speed increase key to something else. Otherwise Rush and time speed increase will happen both at once, which would be rather odd. You probably can't change this in the controls menu, but you <i>can</i> do it manually in PROGRAM\CONTROLS\init_pc.c, where you can change all controls in any way you like. If you use the Build 14 Alpha version, you can even do it easier in PROGRAM\BuildDefaultControls.h.

The Quick-Equip key tries to choose the best weapons for you to use, but it doesn't always make the choice you would make for yourself. You aren't forced to use these weapons though. If you want to use something else, go into the F2>Inventory screen and equip the weapon you want to use instead. As long as you don't press [F] again, you will keep using your chosen weapon.

A powder flask is an item that you can find/buy at higher character levels. It allows you to carry more gunpowder with you: 12 powder items instead of 6, if I recall correctly.

Edit: Mistake fixed. Thanks Morgan. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doff.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":doff" border="0" alt="doff.gif" />

no, it was 12 units of powder. the ammunition pouch gives 12 bullets, or 6 musket bullets. musket bullets take up twice the space. you have a pretty high chance of finding such items in the gunpowder barrels, along with blunderbusses.

speaking of which: the other ammo and gunpowder improving items (that don't excist anymore) are still metnioned in the credits. that should be removed to avoid confusion.

just to be sure: is this off topic or not?
