I've sank the Black Pearl in the unmodded game

Just like the thread title says:
Ive finished the inka temple, and came out with that shiney orb (hey, its that ting from da loading screen)

Black Pearl shows up, i sink it, with or without the usage of that orb. (tried both)

cutscene and ending video appears, but the questlog shows the according quest as unfinished, and has no update in it.

is that working as intended? i cant think of anything more to finish. i cant bring that old guy back to the lighthouse, either, so what am i doing wrong?

also the part of the game, where i loose my ship to the storm, and have to get to isla muella (i think it was that one) has no questlog entries at all, even if at the top of the screen i get this "new entry in questlog" messages.
(well i have to play a stupid localized version so i dont know, hows the correct line in english, but im pretty sure you get my drift)

Please keep in mind, the stock game was by far no where bug free <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> There are many standing bugs in the game, some of which could get you stuck indefinately. Most of THOSE bugs have been tackled in later build mods... however as with every programming project, new bugs are introduced. Then squashed, then newer ones, repeat infinite.

The unmodded game is supposed to END as soon as you sink the Pearl. You are supposed to be returned to the main menu after the movie plays. This is changed in the Builds, enabeling you to continue play after the main quest.

i thought it was intended, NOT to end, since earlier in the game , nathaniel talks to danielle like
"i got no problem conquering the whole archipelago with you, AFTER we sink the pearl"

so i guess, the reason the game went on, is just because i didnt sink the english corvette yet.
aka still have one open quest.
