Jack Sparrow quest

Ahoy!

So I started playing the Legend of Jack Sparrow quest and I'm sailing around the archipelago looking for crystal skulls. I love what you folks have done with the game. So, how complete is the Jack Sparrow quest? Do you actually end up with the pear, and a jack sparrow skin?

You <i>can</i> end up as Jack Sparrow with the Black Pearl <i>if</i> you make the correct choices.
The quest is finished for a good part, but is still being worked on by Short Jack Gold.
Tomorrow I'll be posting the quest preview on the ModDB and send it to Keith for posting on the main PA! site.

BTW: I'll be posting a Jack Sparrow storyline preview article on the ModDB tomorrow. If you have any comments you'd like me to include in the article, please post them. Same for if you make any nice screenshots during the quest. After a bad virus, to be safe, I have re-installed (or, more correctly, am re-installing all my programs - the Game is safe though - I keep that away from the internet!).
So I won't be able to do screen shots in time - sorry <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

Oh well; I've got a couple of screenshots from the opening scenes and I'm hoping Mudd might make some too. I'll take a couple for sure! was there a hot key set up for taking screen shots? if not I'll just use my print screen.

I think it was F8 for making screenshots in TGA format in your main game folder. Personally I usually use PrintScreen though. I'll try to post the article as soon as possible (later today or maybe tomorrow morning Local Time), so if you could post some screenshots by then, that'd be great. Actually, it'll probably end up being tomorrow anyway. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

You can put them on the FTP. See the login details <a href="http://forum.piratesahoy.net//index.php?showtopic=10288" target="_blank">here</a>. If you don't have an FTP program, <a href="http://s31clan.com/privateftps/pietersmods/potc_downloads/tools/ftp_commander.zip" target="_blank">FTP Commander</a> works OK for me. This version already has the PotC Files FTP defined in it, so no configuring required; just allowing the program to access the Internet through your firewall. If you can convert them from TGA to JPG, they size will drastically decrease though.

I already posted the Jack Sparrow storyline preview, but if you have any screenshots, please put them on the FTP anyway; <a href="http://forum.piratesahoy.net//index.php?act=announce&f=37&id=13" target="_blank">updated log-in details here</a>. I'll have them posted on the ModDB. Alternatively, register on the ModDB and let me know your username. Then I can add you to the PiratesAhoy! usergroup and you can post screenshots to the images section yourself. Then you don't need to mess around with the FTP either. Just make sure you upload them as JPG and not TGA/BMP.
