This video shows a bit of the long 40 day journey from Long Beach Califorinia, Down mexico, through the Panama Canal to Saint Vincent Of The Lady Whashington as she sails for St. Vincent to be filmed in the first POTC movie as the ship we all know as The Interceptor- the fastest naval vessel acording to the English soldiers.
Their crew have it easier than actual maritime life back than, the have a diesal engine, refrigeration for supplies and food and water, they were able to get a christmas tree onboard, they got time off, exchanged gifts, had a christmas feast, and had a tug boat and a guide to get them through safetly through Panama Canal. Though she unfortunaley sustained some damage while trying to dock at Alcapucco, Mexico and a crewmember nearly lost his finger in the incident.
