July 19 Update

Nosie_old

Captain Victorious
Hallo Pirates,
I,ve gone right thru the game with only a few hickups! The Governor and Barbossa sitting in the hold feeling sorry!!
I'm sailing the Black Pearl, and what a Ship she is !! 100000 hp at 16 knots.
There are a few little problems but the game is playable!!
When playing the game do a lot of saving, so you can go back when problems happen!
I will stay clear of the August updates for a bid because I'm getting a bit tired reinstalling the game.
Hope you having as much fun as I am!!!

you don't have to reinstall??? you just have to start a new game or
just press "i" but i don't think it will add all the new things from the updates but i think it you can play with bugfixes <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

It might be a good idea to wait until the next update. The current ones appear to have some really bad bugs that should be fixed in the next update. IncredibleHat and Hook are doing some excellent work. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

You have to reinstall when you get "can't find Engine. ini and some other "nice" Window messages! Believe me I've been there time and again! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

We thank you testers. The debuggers spend so much time tracking down known bugs, that we have not much time to play test all the other aspects of the game to see if anything else is screwed up elsewhere.

Its good to have people testing and finding problems. The only way a problem can get fixed, is if its known about!

Well, thats not true... I've fixed a few problems by fixing others. A cascade effect. Dependancies suck when someone messes with an upper level chunk of code, that hundreds of other things rely on! OUCH!

Anyhow, thanks for testers, we are finding these bugs to kill.
