Last room in Temple [main quest]

Hi everyone,

Recently bought the game and loved it. Played it with Mod 12 at first and then upgraded to: "Post Build 12 Version: Sunday 5 February 2006".

When i played mod12 i had a problem at the ending of the main quest. Im in a room with a huge statue and nothing happens, i cant leave the room. I read about it on the forums and reloaded some old games and played my way back to the end and hoped it would work (even savegames from before is sacked greenford).

I installed the Post Build and started the game all over again from the beginning (26 hours of straight playing) and now i am in the temple again. Same room, same problem. Is there any way to solve the problem or to force the ending dialog? I really want to know because i just want to finish the game.

Welcome to the site.

This may or may not help. The 2/5/06 238mb mod has been updated several times. The latest is todays update which can be accessed on Pieters web site. Check his signature, it listed just below. However, the bugs are still being worked out.

Did you engage Danielle in a conversation in front of the statue. After that conversation things happen as I remember.

I had that same problem and I was using buuild 12.1

Here is what I found out, when you first enter the temple, BEFORE you go into the maze, you enter a room with what looks like 3 passages. Danielle, and the old man MUST talk to you BEFORE you walk down that center passageway. So, when you walk into the temple, just wait or walk around that room until someone starts talking. THEN, after they go their seperate ways, you will be alone, and then you find your way to the place where you get the ORB.

Hope this helps. I also hope you have a save game BEFORE you enter the temple...
