finally decided to do the man quest. got through everything to where beatrice tells me to find a quiet room. i search high and low and cannot find it. could someone help me out and tell me where to find it?

The answer is, you've already found it. Your character was already in this room and had a conversation with its sibling. It simply happens "off-screen".
