Are there any map of the dungeons, I'm guessing that they would be the same one that are in AOP because most every thing els except for the quests reminds me of AOP

Not that I know of, but the dungeons aren't really all that large or complicated. Sometimes I'm taken by nostalgia for the good old days of computer gaming... and then I remember those humongous, randomly generated dungeons in Daggerfall. Boy, those things would give you nightmares.

Daggerfall now thats one great game and a collectors item too I paid $70 for a used game of that to add to my collection of the elder scrolls series but am haveing a hard time getting Red Guard, Battlespire ans Arena

Is there any dungeons in CoAS that were taken from PotC? We do have some maps of those.

<a href="http://www.elderscrolls.com/downloads/downloads_games.htm" target="_blank">Arena</a> is free for couple of years.

not sure about POTC and their more like tunnels than dungeons you kind of get lost and seem to go around in circles.

PotC has some caves too. I'm pretty sure CoAS makes use of some PotC location models, whether modified or not. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

It dose have the cave setup that you find behind the waterfall in POTC including the ship on the beach and all of the towns seem to be the same as AOP but with few new textures from what I can see.

I mite be a bit harsh here but to me it's more like an addon to AOP than a new game, So if you could point me to some cave maps of ether POTC or AOP Piteter it would be great.

At the moment they're unavailable, but I'll upload the PotC cave maps again when I get back home. Remind me if I forget. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

CoAS is definitely based on PotC and AoP, but from what I gather (having no access to the game myself yet),
it does appear to be a much better gaming experience without mods added.
PotC was nice, but clearly unfinished and I think AoP was rather boring. At least in CoAS you've got plenty to do, right? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

Yes it dose have a lot more content that AOP, I'm one of those player's that love's to start out with a good story line in a game like POTC with side quests thrown in.

FarCry 2 was the same and went for more of a shoot em up type game with little missions but didn't have a good story line like the first FarCry, I ended up only getting half way through the game before it got boring.

Here's the old page with the PotC maps we've got; maybe there's one or two that apply to CoAS too.

There are maps in-game for the various dungeons, but they are VERY rare.

In that case.... TX CONVERTER! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />

They don't seem to be in the textures/interfaces/maps folder. Couldn't find them anywhere else either.

That's interesting... hiding texture files? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" />

The maps you can view are items that you carry in inventory, so you may want to poke around in the items.

Textures/interfaces/maps <i>is</i> where the in-game viewable maps are stored.

Interesting. Maybe they treated the dungeon maps differently, or maybe they are considered quest items?

how to go to dungeons?

a guy approach me in city and ask me to go dungeon at midnight, but i couldnt find the dungeon. And no quest log written also.

Depends on the city. Some cities have the dungeon right in town. Others have it outside of town in a mine or a cave.

You are best off to follow that NPC to the entrance they go into. Then you at least know what location they have entered.

You must also meet them BEFORE midnight of the day they speak to you, or you have broken the entire quest chain that they are related to.
