It says there that it uses the engine from the game 'half life 2', which is fairly clever as that game has only just come onto the market.

It must be a huge mod then, and the forum at this page seems to be used by serious modders. Good on 'em.

I look forward to playing this multiplayer game with great anticipation, whenever it is finished.

I found this game by looking up the address for it that is shown in the signature of member CaptainRED, thanks Captain.

As a novice player, I would like to ask him (or anyone who knows):
1. when will MIST be ready ?
2. do I have to purchase `half-life` 2 & install it, before I can attach this Mist ?
or can I just download, unzip & play ?
3. I wonder if the answers to the above could be added to the MIST
homepage ?</span>

Thanks DR, we have known of this for quite a while, Detrux is the PR for the mod and post here a bit when he has updates and so on, so you should get your answers pretty quickly

Sorry, didn`t notice the questions at first. Here be my answers:

@1: It's a mystery, no one knows, mostly because there are many ppl involved.
When someone asked Columbus how many weeks he thinks his journey would take he said it would be several weeks although he knew no one could be sure.
Well it was a longer journey than he expected but in the end he found much more, a whole new world ! It was well worth it.
The same holds true for Mistmod i believe. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />

@2: Yes, a running version of HL2 will be needed to play Mistmod.

No, team vs team MP at first. Coop (humans vs AI) or other modes might be added in the future.
