just wondering if PlanetSide reserves is any good. anyone know? won't pay for it myself... but wanted to know if the limits on the reserve still made it fun...on a side note MMO's you DO NOT want to play-

blitz 1941 (tank game, thats pretty cheesy)

navyfield (no custormer support, lag and delays that you start to laugh at i can't emphisize how bad this is, PoS times infinity)

knight Online (pretty lame, play it don't pay it)

evercrack (if you can't handle it)

good ones include

star wars galaxies
guild wars
WoW
everquest (if you can handle it)
vanguard-sagas of heros it's like oblivion graphics but online, thing is INSANE, but not out yet)

haven't done many other mmo's so i was wondering rather then wasting a month of my time on planetside or other mmo's if anyone wanted to give some advice on what was lag friendly, free (or not, but mostly free) and what was fun/good.

Lineage2 is pretty cool, EVE Online rocks <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> AutoAssault is another great MMO.

I bought Red Orchestra Osfront 41-45 a few weeks ago. It's pretty good, takes some time getting used to though but its very fun, esspecially if you have a mic and playing with a good bunch of team players.
 
HellAngel_666 you could always try out a free Lineage2 server(they are NOT illegal) <a href="http://www.l2extreme.com/" target="_blank">http://www.l2extreme.com/</a> eXtreme servr(ITS NOT ILLEGAL). Gues your problem would be to find the game itself(doesn't matter which Chronicle you will find, the game will update to the latest).
 
thanks, when i get a chance i'll try it out... anyone know anything about planetside? and how much lag there is maybe? even for 56k? also gameplay? thanks...

WHAT! You say its good but I advise you to look what they have been doing to it.
 
i don't own it. only have watched a mate of mine play it a while ago. maybe it's changed but i know what i saw made him look like god on the battle field.
 
some good mmo's are from gpotato who have made flyff and space cowboy. The bad one dare i say it maplestory! Fun until lvl 20 and then since there is no pvp and it s in a 2-d worldthe hacking of the same monsters is soooooooo boreing.
 
I played Knight online for a while, had a lvl61 assasin. But servers are very dodgy and I've noticed people on free to play mmo's are mostly rather rude, ignorant people.
 
Actually that sounds like most MMO's ...

WoW was that way, D&D Online is DEFINITELY that way ...
 
Aye,since Guild Wars is free on line play,I've run across some very rude arrogant types,for the most part most of em are quite helpfull and decent types. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cheers.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="cheers.gif" />
