In POTC you can sail from port to port without leaving 3D sailing mode, this was a very nice update to the game, then came the ability to use the sail to command to sail to any port whilest remaining in 3D mode. However i don't know if it was done for POTC but the mod for giving commands to your companions about which shot type to use in COAS made me think wouldn't it be nice if you could tell the companions to set sailo for any port in the Carribean whilest in 3D mode and they would do it, you could then play the role of escort ship rather than follow me as it current is set up, after all the chances are you will use play that role deffending your merchant ships.
I knwo this is a long way off, because first the mod to be able to sail to any port whilest in 3D mode needs to be converted to COAS and then the ability to use the command for your companions needs to be updated allowing for the option to do such things. I'm no modder and often i wish i could do things like this to help out, but i don't have the time anyway thats what happens when you have children under the age of 3 does lol, never the less it would be nice to see something like this making it to COAS and if its not already included in POTC then it would be nice to see it in Build 14.
