ok, by popular request, i've come up with a new way of doing custom sails. i'm afraid you still have to actually edit the graphics and convert the file to .tx just like before, but now you can have more than one, and you can choose to save it as a white, black or torn sail.

so if you have your own sails which you'd like to include in the game, you can now do it easily (and it's also easy for other people to include it if you send it to them or put it up for download somewhere).

this mod also includes the six pirates ahoy! sails. (if you have the pa! sails already installed then you won't be able to install this automatically, you'll have to do it manually, but it's really not that hard and there are instructions in the readme! plus i don't think that's very many of you anyway.)

mi dispiace corsaro, ancora non ci è disponibile... però ho ammigliorato il mod, e serà disponibile come una parte del nuovo 'build.'

yo estoy empesando a aprender como modificar el juego, tengo photoshop y lo manejo muy bien, espero de hacer algo yo tambien. Pero me gustaria manejar el Maya o 3dmax.

en cuanto al build 12, saldrá cuando saldrá... el 'líder esperitual' ( <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> ) de los builds, nathan kell - quien hizo o participó en la mayoría de los mods que constituyen el build 11, y que organizaba todos los builds antes del 11 - tiene problemas con su ordenador y por el momento no puede visitar los forums. así que estamos intentando organizar el decimosegundo... hay algunos mods que querríamos incluir que todavía están sin completar. hay que tener paciencia <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pirate2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p:" border="0" alt="pirate2.gif" />
 
its telling me page not found when i try to download it why is this so, please help me obain this as i want to make my own sails?!?!?!

I will wait withouit promblem the realese of the new build. I accutally downloaded the 11th only two weeks ago. I have just started to mod the sails. <b>Important</b>:
nobody told me that when you rework them on Photoshop you have to make sure that the design has to be flip horizontally so that it looks like a mirrored image.

Do you need the converterTX?
 
yeh sorry cap'n cornish, the custom sails mod was taken down quite some time ago, because i updated it. the new version will be available soon <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" /> (by the way, are you actually cornish, or do you just have cornish in your username? if yes,

corsaro - don't worry, i suppose 'forza spagna' is ok here too <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" /> on build 11 there is a slot for one black custom sail and a slot for one torn custom sail, you could use those slots? by default viper's custom sails are in those slots (the southern us confederate flag with a green triangle and a viper on it, if i remember correctly), cos it's him who first implemented custom sails.
 
I am actually Cornish me Hansom as we do say down here in the Sou West! I be likin me pasties and me cup o tea. (thats a trading object we need) and then o course me cider tis gud down ere. When summer weather tis gud i recomend that ye all come to Cornwall tis a beautiful place.
 
cool, well just a suggestion, pm keith the webmaster and ask him to add the cornish flag to the list of flags, so you can 'fly' it on your profile instead of the union jack <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" /> i have declared war on the union jack...

Im thinkin of making me own pirate sails ya see they are black with the silver or white cross in em like the cornish flag and then the Cornish shield in the centre, a black shield with 15 golden balls in it. in an upside down traingular fashion.

and in that case then I had better promote ones self to Fleet Admiral of the Rebulic Navy of Cornwall.

RNC St. Piran, (a fast 52 gun heavy frigate) with RNC Cornwall and Kernow two supporting vessels 28 gun 4 rates (similar in shape to that of the surprise from M&C)

So how long is it until we gets this new release or is it possible you put the old one up for release just so i can get me new sails please?
