Razor could do it, if only he was around. Haven't heard from him in a while.
 
As much as I have the skills to do it, I'm a bit short on time since I do work for a video games company. I think the 12.1 video would do fine. Deus Ex HDTP just has a video of Gunther running around like a moron <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> bu hey we ended up being nominated last time so :p.

Please note that the trend usually goes to FPSs for winning MOTY, so will POTC be the first non-FPS mod to win? its looking doubtful going by those realtime stats that Intense just put up. Keep releasing at least 1 build per year and you'll always be in with a good chance guys <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />. I say once the New Horizons builds kick in we can go on a PR frenzy, may I suggest dropping the URLs in various gaming forums. I know I've tried <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> its just not enough people actually own this game <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> (suggesting we should go Standalone <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> big 1 fingered salute to Bethesdasoft! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />)

Sadly its been a very good year for FPS given Portal, Crysis and UT3 all came out this year.
 
I don't actually count on winning this. PotC is bound to not be the biggest mod available. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />
 
the build 12.1 trailer could give wrong impressions. the cannon graphics are different and it doesn't nearly show everything.

have you guys considered getting permissions to go standalone? I suspect Bethesda wouldn't allow it <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> but anything to stop them from getting $10 a copy would be sweet IMO, this mod is worthy of being its own game.
 
<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hi.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":gday" border="0" alt="hi.gif" /> i have registered and OFCOURSE voted. lol username is James_IronHook but anyway what I think of the stand alone is that if theres a little,microscopic chance for us to transform the potc mod into a game, we should try it.. but just like that, (im noob at games contracts lol) if we pay a % to bethesda softworks, is there a chance they accept? because they are ALREADY getting nothing from the original PotC..(actually i haven't seen an original potc game copy in any of the stores i went(i mean pc gaming stores))
