Modding Installation Help

I am alittle out of par with Potc as I have been playing the original Sea Dogs.
I have some questions about Modding Installations. I am greedly interested in the mods on Pieter's page, I downloaded all the listed mods there. I installed what I believe to be the lasted version of build mod(buildv12). Now is where I have questions; I want to install the post build mod and the various extra islands mod and sound files. Should I be expecting a wizard, or shall I just copy paste overwriting the Potc directory where I find the like files? I am spoiled by installations wizards I think

There's no installation wizard, I'm afraid. I just did it as simple as I could. Just extract the Post Build 12 mods on top of a properly working Build 12. Then extract the new islands mod on top as well. And finally extract the sound mod to RESOURCE\Sounds\OBJECTS\SHIPCHARGE. The other two mods should be extracted to the main PotC folder. After this, reset the controls to default and start a new game.
