Hi, i've imported the Galleon model in 3dsmax, and i would like to ask you a question...Who made this model?? it has many mistakes with the normals, it's a few optimized e why all the elements of the deck (cannons, decks, trees ecc ecc) have one self copy overplaced?? all this is a nonsense..


this is a errors very very big error :S
 
All the models were made by Akella, the translation for 3dmax might have been the reason it looks a bit dodgy?
 
yes I have seen already others models and all have this problem

now i'm requadrangulate the whole model and deleting the copy of the bridge

Wow, looks like this really is more of a 'beta' release.

All that counts are triangles because of yer graphicscard renders triangles only. Second, the models are not done for being beauties or winning contests of correctness. The 3D artists had to keep the polycount down in order to make sure AoP reaches acceptable framerates and uses few resources as possible.
Maybe ya can do some nice models instead for further use in some of the mods? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
 
the matter is not the beautyness of the model, but his structure, there are banals mistakes that let grow the polycount useless, anyway i only want to modify the model to make it more realistic and sof
