Money Money Money !!!!!

rancor

Landlubber
1. Go to any loanshark make sure there is a chest there.
2. Put every single gold coin in the chest.
3. Talk to the loanshark.
4. Ask him to give you some gold.
5. Put the gold to the chest.
6. Talk to him again say the same.
7. Put the gold in the chest.
8. Repeat this over and over and over and over untill you got enough gold or you get bored or anything.
9. Talk to him once again and ask him to give you a little credit take the cradit and talk to him again and pay (then don't put the gold in the chest) you can also jus ask him to give you a little credit and say you'd rather get in no debt.
10. Take the gold from the chest and it's all yours.
note: The higher level you are the more credit he will give.

Or if you are just starting a game then change the starting amount of money, that way you don't fall foul of any reputation problems that might arise from using this method.

I think that if you are playing Build 11, Rancor, there was a fix put in so that cheat does not work anymore. You can DO it, but the loanshark will want his money back and if you don't give it to him your rep will sink down to Davey Jones... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/diomed.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":dio" border="0" alt="diomed.gif" />

Hehe, Money should not be any problem anyway, the interesting part is
where you come to board huge swimming castles while using a nutshell

Just a heckuva lotta fun! I love a challenge... Try it at Swashbuckler, DM! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />

I think, that money should NOT be earned too easily( like in Build 10.1).
In Build 11 you won't swim in gold so fast

(I forgot the not java script:emoticon('<img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />') )

I agree, i had a cargomission on 10.1 which flushed 381.000 coins into
my pocket. Now i never saw something similiar so far. But actually i think
the ships are somewhat to cheap/easily acquired. I suppose nobody
would allow just anybody with enough money to buy a sherman tank
nowadays. I also guess nobody sold a fully armed Galleon/frigate/Battleship to just somebody throwing enough money around, in those days, would they ? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
At least not in the 'official' shipyards....

Maybe you're right, but perhaps people weren't so official in these days. And you don't know if a part of a ship's price is just a "private present" to the owner of the dock ! java script:emoticon('<img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />')
