Music Downloads busted?

Hey,

I was thinking to myself... "Hey! The music in POTC is pretty crappy". Its just not as good as it coudl be, so I attempted to download the movie music. Wahey! Cracking idea.... all excited and worked up to find.. ahem...

"The document is being edited/updated by an user and is unavailable at this moment.1570!=0"

That sucks, anti-climax or what. However! I was patient, and aftyer about another 3 weeks of this I decided i'd seek some help in the matter. Does this happen to everybody? Or does my computer not like me? And most importantly, does anybody have any other links/methods to get the music form the theme?

I'd recommend checking out <a href="http://forum.piratesahoy.net/index.php?showtopic=6309" target="_blank">this</a> forum thread about the Cutthroat Island music mod. With a bit of luck, that link still works. Since Cutthroat Island features the best pirate movie music I ever heard (and I've heard quite some pirate music), that should be of some use to you. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

As far as the other music mods are concerned: I seem to be able to download them all, but it doesn't work too great for the PotC movie music. Hello Kieran, this be an easy fix to be sure....in those files on Pirates Ahoy that you be havin trouble with, instead of hitting the Download Button, choose the one next to it labeled "Details" you will then go to the Details screen about that mod or file. Third one down should be "Filename".....Click left mouse button just before "Http" and Hold Down Mouse button...then drag your mouse acrossed the rest of the filename right to the end and down in some of them, because they are too long for one line. Usually though they end in a .zip or something like that. Now with that Line highlighted, right click your mouse and a little command box opens up, now choose "copy". Now take your mouse and go to the top of your browser and click in the "address" line. Click Left mouse button here and Your existing line will go Blue, then Right click mouse and choose "paste". Your copied link should pop right in there, if so! click on the little "green and White" arrow at the end of your "Address" line, and your missing link will pop up on your screen. Then just save as you normally would as per any download.

Hopes this helps and yes it seems to work for all those missing files on this site. Sorry to be so long winded, but "I" have to explain in detail, so as not to forget or mislead anyone who tries this. I used to hate being told something when I was first starting out, only to have to go back and re-ask them, just because they thought! well I figured everyone Just knew that!! AND I'm sure everyone into computers had this happen to them at least once.....these So called "Experts" forget the little details that everyone takes for granted
