Any chance to be able to equip this?
If not , Is there a better gun( or equal to it) in the game that the hero could be able to equip ?

I don't think there's anything that packs a bigger punch (with the possible exception of the double barrelled musket, which I haven't see yet, but you won't be able to equip that either), but I sure hope there's something bigger than the beretta pistol.

Come to think, there's the shotgun. But that's an easter egg and rumor has it that you have to be playing a hardcore game to be able to get it.

The Russian mod, CoAS Hardcore Edition 1.2.3 , allows you to equip and use muskets in the game...so with a bit of modding I'm sure we'll unlock that ability for ours as well

i'm not sure but I have seen some of my crew using them when boarding other ships, and they are quite letal cuz kill at range.

is there any relationship of how many shotters i'll get when boarding with the number of musketoons i have in the ship?

Might be.
Even more likely , someone - I think it was Sordid, suggested that the number of musketeer sailors depends of/increases with musket voley perk ( bossun specific).

Yep, that. In my experience, you get no musketeers if you don't have the perk and two if you do (plus the musketeer officer, if you have him). Seems the same for enemy ships. If they don't fire a volley at us, there are no musketeers. If they do, they always have a pair of them on the quarterdeck.

gun usage is so messy in any of the pirate games i played today so i think it isn't wort it that's why i don't use any gun

Really? My gun is the main reason I win most fights. Taking 127 HPs off someone right at the start will really hurt someone's chances of besting me.

true but usually u need to be really close to use it properly or in a one on one situation or in far enough range in the start of a battle when no ally is in your fire range in which don't happens to me since I'm always with a full pack fighter crew beside swords are my thing <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Yeah, the friendly fire thing is annoying. It doesn't really make any sense if you think about it. You don't shoot your allies because your gun is inaccurate, that calculation is completely separate and is applied regardless of who you're aiming at. You hit your allies because the targeting thing accidentally snaps to them. Isn't it supposed to, you know, help you aim? Why would you ever aim at an ally?

There's a Musketeer officer in Trinidad, his house is near the bridge in front of the Governor's Residence. Talk to him and he'll ass
you to find his unique old double barreled musket from a Pirate ship - Arrow. With me I found it just right after i received the quest and boarded to the sea, you'll see a ship which it's sails are in pink color ( I think so .... lol xD ). Try to BOARD IT and you'll get it in the chest after the captain is slaughtered.

About the Musketoon ....... I suggest keep it as a souvenir lol lol or waiting for a updating patch ( sth like that )
