My current modding work

Yesterday I've just fixed tutorial and made following changes:
- on FdF and QC removed teleportations and player moves with Malcolm;
- modified Malcolm dialog of course: now Malcolm tells to sell proper goods in store. I removed his prater about loanshark when he advices what to do but now he tries to really advise: instead taking hardcoded text about Sandal and Silk at Oxbay to sell in Redmond he takes two random export goods from current town, then finds closest one which imports those goods;
- spyglass can be bought on QC from store keeper.

Do somebody works on tutorial? I need to know what I should do next. Now I'll try to finish new islands and _finally_ publish my version.

That's EXCELLENT, Pirate_KK!!! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />

IncredibleHat made some changes to the tutorial which will be in the next modpack update. I don't think these will interfere with your work. You can see his changes in the version available from the Bug Tracker.

I'm looking forward to your work very much indeed. It will greatly improve the game! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

You know, I have one idea... seeing that you can start the game as a pirate, is it possible to start it with the articles signed? It's kinda wierd that as a pirate captain you pay your crew a salary <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

(Speaking of which, how come that money that I earn while having my crew on salary isn't mine? It's my ship, its crew are my employees, so I should get all the money, not them (I'm referring to the fact that everything I earn is displayed as "crew money"), and the only way to actually earn money for myself is to have land or to get my share for dividing the plunder))

Nice idea. Might be possible. I don't know how to though. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

The crew money is the money you use for normal transactions. The personal wealth isn't really used to buy anything. So you can see it as the crew money is the regular money, while the personal wealth is your own personal purse. You can't do anything with your personal wealth unless you donate it to the crew first.

If you are sailing by paying salary, you should be paid salary yourself. I don't think that is working though. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

There is a trigger in one of the setting files to have any repairs to blades and such at the blacksmith to come out of your own pocket. I turned that on because it seemed more realistic. That's what I use my personal wealth for. I liked the idea of having to save up to make my blades top-notch.

I added that setting. I once turned it on by default, but people kept being confused about why they couldn't repair their blades, so I turned it off again. I liked the idea as well though.

Speaking of repairing, is there any way to repair pistols like you do swords? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bookish.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":mm" border="0" alt="bookish.gif" />

Yes, there is. The Conceicao blacksmith doesn't repair blades but guns instead. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

Great, thanks <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />

A new modpack update is uploaded with all of my recent modding added in. Not everything is working properly yet, so it will need testing and fixing.

It's not?
It worked on the Nov 22 version.

It is? I have never been paid salary myself. Not even in Build 12.1. Weeeiiiird. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wacko:" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />

Pretty sure I can recall being paid a salary for quite sometime now.

Cheers <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
