About the Bellona, I had a look at it and it appeared to me afterwards that I used some Aop models I found as a Base, I can upload them if you like, they've all transparent windows and furniture for the Cabins. I guess they use some kind of Alpha texturing to make the windows transparent but unfortunately I don't know how to make that, some of our modders here might know... It's true it could be cool,

About the textures used, They're part of the "Details Packs" uploaded by Yohoho in his folder on FTP, I can also upload them in mine if you want and they're to be putten in the Resource/textures/ships directory <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

About the Barque1_deck.gm, did you observed that on all the models? Are the Cutter elements refered to it?! Because I used the method Yo ho ho gave on the forum, so the details are independent from the hull but added to it by a locator...

On another note, i'm very glad it doesn't interfere with the pennant mod, that removes a potential bug source and I can go on that stuff quietly <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Which detail pack are those textures in? I downloaded the two from Yo Ho Ho's FTP folder, but it's not in there.
It seems that only Barque1_deck.gm references ALL those textures. The other ones seem normal.

Ok, I think I know what's the problem about barque_deck1, strangely, when saving the TOOL kept in memory all the figurehead models i tried before choosing one, i guess it's the explanation because it seems it's the only model about wich I had so much hesitations in my choice.

About the Bellona, what I mean is that, in my game, I replaced all the AOP ship models by some other models I found some time ago, those models have transparent cabin windows, with furniture inside the cabins, like on Kazeite's Blackpearl...

It seems I used the AOP battleship from those models to work on it, but, as I don't know how to make transparent textures, and because I modified the windows a little bit, you can't see inside the cabin <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I was wondering something, I read in another thread we could start to use COAS models? Is it true? Because if it's the case, be prepared to receive a load of new ships <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

For transparent windows, I think that's probably alpha-map work. What program do you use for your texture-work?
You might want to check with Thomas for that; would be nice to use those updated Russian models instead. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

CoAS ships should work as well as the AoP ones, eg. without crew. But other than that, they should work.
I'm a bit reluctant to add MORE ships into the game though. The modpack is really becoming too ridiculously weird.
I'd prefer having improvements of what we have and just add new content when it's really OUR new content and seriously worthwhile.
 
We don't need more of those <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />. Just our own ships.
 
I can confirm that they work, about the COAS models, nothing spectacular, 2 or 3 new brigs, a corvette and a kind of barque... As you say we can stick with what we have, more over if we update our models <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

About the Alpha texturing, i'm using a soft called "Photofiltre", much more simple than photoshop that i could never deal with ^^'

About the Updated AOP models i can upload them in replacement of those we have there will be some Alpha work to do on it and I haven't really the time for now but I can upload them <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Ok here it is! I'm ready to begin the upload of the ships I talked about. It will be in my folder within one hour.

Look for "Ships with transparent sterns + COAS Ships selection.rar", You'll find a selection of the nicer COAS ships + All the AOP ships reworked to have transparent windows to replace those we have already... About the credits, those ships are from a Seward.ru forum member is my memory is OK.

The stats for the COAS ships are furnished and adapted for POTC

If there's any texture lacking please ask <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

As a bonus here is the last reworked starting ship :

Very nicely done, Seb! But Thomas the Terror completely redid the skin of that ship in Alpha 9.5 Patch 2.
It appears to me that now your model-work and his texture-work are a bit interfering with each other. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

BTW: As starting ships are concerned, the barque3_50 is the starting ship of the Bartolomeu quest.
You start the quest ship-less and that is the first ship you get.

It's not a problem with the BritishWarship, just something I noticed. I was actually thinking it might be better to keep your
model-adjustments as-is and have already asked Thomas if he can remove the textures that are at on the same spot.
According to him, that's not very hard to do, so I'm hoping he will do that. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

There is no problem with barque3_50 either, but since it's not actually set up in the start storyline files,

I didn't really noticed this about Barque3_50, about the lineship it's very kind to you both, anyway if it bothers anyone, i'll make some adjustments <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
