Dozens of boats! You have to imagine that these boats will eventually be replaced with Kraken tentacles though. In this case I was just going way overboard with the amount though, just for fun. The boats themselves might also be used for Davy Jones' Locker. <p><img src="http://piratesahoy.net/build/temp/pearl_kraken.jpg" border="0" width="600" height="439" />
Here's the Black Pearl under attack by the (invisible) Kraken.</p> <p><img src="http://piratesahoy.net/build/temp/deck_attack.jpg" border="0" width="600" height="441" />
And there's lots of smoke and explosions on the ship's deck.</p> <p><img src="http://piratesahoy.net/build/temp/insane_attack.jpg" border="0" width="600" height="440" />
Here I'm going <em>waaay</em> overboard on the explosions, but I've got to say the effect is spectacular.</p> <p><img src="http://piratesahoy.net/build/temp/death_of_endeavour.jpg" border="0" width="600" height="439" />
This might actually be useful for the death of HMS Endeavour too.</p> <p><img src="http://piratesahoy.net/build/temp/deck_death.jpg" border="0" width="600" height="410" />
All that's missing is Cutler Beckett walking down some stairs in all this mayhem.</p> <p>As you might have gathered from the above, we've actually started doing some experimenting with Dead Man's Chest and At World's End scenes and are intending to include those in the "New Horizons" mod too. Of course the game itself doesn't lend itself very well to what is required for those two movies, but we're trying to do what we can to make it work anyway.</p></div></div>
