new looking islands will be avaliable in patch

grayangel did not say that the jungles, land walking, brothel, banks etc. would be in the addon, those i think will be enabled in a patch maybe not the coming one but otherwise the one after since it can be enabled by us modders to.

I think she means with addon completely new things like new islands, new quests etc.
 
I was told "patch". I'll leave it at that. There is no set date for it yet, so we'll just need to be patient and find out.

This first patch will update some things and fix the bugs. After that, we'll see. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
 
This patch should bump the game up to 9.5/10

Pre-patch it is 7/10

There are things we want that this fix does not include, such as crew on deck in 1st person mode, starforce removal, etc ect, u get the drift, savvy?
 
yes the game is great!! (if we get a usefull patch)

the ideas to make the game were all great! BUT - this game is so modify-able... there are many things, that was left! Treasure-quest(EVERY PIRATE-GAME SHOULD HAVE TREASURE-QUESTS!), more buildings in town(which you can go in),the crew(in 1st person mode), jungles, dungeons, secret caves in the ocean, the possibilty to marry a gouvenors-daughter... and so on... (the old "pirates!" -game from the 90´s had allready some of this features in game...

...have AKELLA never watched a pirate-movie ???

In such a game you can use all resources/ features/ stories, that was in the year 1600 ...


the orginal game AOP-CT is build with 10% of such features.... there is sooo much more possible!!

MAYBE THE OFFICIAL ADD ON of AOP CT will be annother story based game and pirate-game of more quests!
 
well, maybe akkella studied real history.

in wich, the only treasures really to be found were those of the aztec/inca. pirates rarley buried t heir treasures in reality.

frankly i like the removal of the jungles and that. i just thought those were such a bother.

sorry a little simple misspelling, however it doesn't matter if grayangel is a male or a female, he is at least giving some good feedback to the community and that is something not every developer does now and days. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

hehe famous he is that's a fact, like i said u never find any developers putting there time into talking to it's customers anymore.
