Request: Get rid of the people posting links to viruses and porn and the such.

Their membership should be digitally hung and then their digital corpses displayed on the home page as a warning to other such villains.

here's a tip: the spambot problem on the piratehideout was solved be letting the topics only be viewable by members. of course, this won't stop those other spammers from spamming, however, it would take care of the spambot. there is one problem though: as this is a very active forum, it could reduce the amount of new visitors because they would get the wrong impression, like that membership isn't free or something.

The spam posts usually only appear at the The Shipwright subforum and not on any other forums. Apparently something is set differently in the right of that subforum as compared to the other ones.
