new starting characters - not working

it keeps saying that the data name is not right (its in german, sorry for translation problems) so i am unable to increase the quantity of heros. should i make a herodiscribe2?

Did you try saving it in the original format with English only characters?

I'm not sure how international the modding is, or how good I am at resolving international modding issues.

yeah, only thing i did was follow the directions to the folder, opened the file herodiscribe.txt and changed the 3 to an 18, for more characters. but it says the path or dataname is not right

after 2 hours of trying to figure it out, i finally got an idea. what i did was - sent th file to documents - edited it there, and right clicked, copy, and pasted it (overwrited) back in the orriginal folder. thanks for trying - and maybe u can remember this info for the next person who asks
