Newb question (concerning food)

Hey, enjoying the new features that the build mod introduces to POTC, but I keep having problems with keeping my crew fed. I'm finding it impossible to keep my crew fed while still having enough money to trade goods, pay the crew etc. Any tips on this? I dont know what build you are playing, but you can always cut rum and food into half rations. Of course, this affects the mood of your crew - especially rum is a motivating good for your crew <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Don't forget to search the bodies of the people you've killed. You make money REAL fast that way. **grins**

Thanks for the replies. Started a new game and got a nice little business trading sandal and linen between Santo Domingo and Redmond until I have the guts to fight somebody.

Which modpack version are you using? If one of the Build 14 Alpha versions, note that your gain skills quickly early in the game.

Another question concerning food, do the other ships you have need food to keep the crew alive?

Also, do we share ammunition, gunpowder with them?
