No jobs from governor

My rank is commondore and I have completed 19 missions. I finished the 19th mission over a 1 game year ago and since that the gov. has not gave me any new missions. How to get more missions from the gov.? I would also like to ask this: When the game ends? I'm serving England and I'm not going to make the main quest. Will the character get retired like in Sid Mayers Pirates! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/duel_pa.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ixi" border="0" alt="duel_pa.gif" />

You play on forever, your choice, or put

else. This game schould be renamed to Bugs Galore,
or Half Done! Maybe How to waste my Money?
You could try the russian Addon, but knowledge of

Its not anything more than a bug, unfortunately you will need to restart your game or load it from a save prior to the missions disappearing.

Take a look at the thread <a href="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=9905" target="_blank">Patch 1.5, Working fo the French Gov.</a> in which the same problem is discussed. Dab suggests that there may be a link with civilians offering jobs. Leave the governor's residence, talk to anyone offering a job, accept or decline the offers to get them out of the way (Dab suggests declining them), then try going back to the governor. However, Cep's reply indicates that this isn't always the solution. It may be worth trying, though...
