I wanted to do some upgrade for a manowar but the bermuda shipyard is requesting smth around 3k more than 1 material (10k maybe , hold) , and that's a lot more than I can have.
I can not carry that on turns cause it's not the ship I'm into (I'm not able to sail it yet).
I found the materials and grabbed their ships but having trouble moving around (3 full galeons after me).
The question is - something like a wharehouse is there in the game , when I could store my materials , away from the rats and other ships?
Any ideea of something similar?
 
Well u can always bring the materials in parts. If u have to bring 4K mahogany, bring 1-2K to the shipyard and the logbook will upgrade, why u want to bring all together ? And for the rats - use "Rat God" to stop them.

If I change the ship , deal goes off.
If I want to leave them there then go out on sea I will have to change the ship.
How to get rats got - only a clue I want.
 
Ok, let's try to explain u <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> U are low level, that's why u have so much red on your stats when u sail the ship, use some officers and this will be fixed. If u want so much to bring the materials, without leaving your ship, etc, just use teleport and cheat... And not sure how u "cant sail it yet". And pretty sure this Man-o-war is cheated also <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
Rat god, quest, chest, merchant, etc.

Realy is not cheated.
I got with frigate, brought men down with grapple.
But I could get manowar with blue bird too, shoot 1-2 grapple and board fast.

OR , get them to port , they might have poor distance cannons - had like 20lbs or even 16lbs - I had 32 on blue bird.
Stay in port range he won't enter , bring his sails down.My other ship carries crew.I bring his crew down but he can't move.
Mine also down too.Run to other ship get other crew , go board it.

I have over crew and the fight is hard but it works.
Anyway I know the solution but is cumbersome.

Solution is to fill ships with valuable cargo and leave them to port.But the money cost must worth it.
I haven't cheated a bit unless you call cheating loading when dead because you made some misattention mistake.


What's rats god description ? Smth like "devourer of filth" ?

Spare crew and space.Money - sell it.
Always carry one after me with crew, medicine, food, wpns, planks and sailcloth - to replenish/restore after battle.
Stats are random , trying to find a better one before I'm able to sail it(planning for the future).

Yes, I did it. Stored 2 filled galeons(with dumb new officers) at port control, hopefully they don't have rats in there.
When you have no more place for a dumb officer : store a good one at port control in tartane, hire dumb one, store dumb one, get good one back.

And replaced one later with a manowar.So one can have up to 3 manowars per friendly town to store things <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />.And away from rats, it seems.
