No pirates in the background

I cant remember when this started happening, but when im baording there arent any other pirates fighting, except for me and the captain of the other ship.
I have a legal version bought in EB Games a few days ago.

You probably lowered your graphics settings. The first thing you lose are the other combatants on the deck.

If you want them back, simply max out your graphics settings at the preferences page...
