What do you mean with "this one"? It sounds as if you are referring to Age of Pirates, but believe it or not: These screenshots were taken in Pirates of the Caribbean: Post Build 12 mods; not in Age of Pirates.

Build 12 greatly enhances the game. It removes a lot of the frustration and adds a lot more interest and fun. The Post Build 12 mods add yet more features, but also several new bugs. We are working on fixing them now and we are pretty close to releasing it as a stable Build 13. I hope to release it within a month (within two weeks, preferrably).

Ok now I am really confused since Beatrice in not in my game. I downloaded the build 12_full and installed it in a new install of POTC. The readme says it's build 12 but not 12.1. In fact after going over some posts in the mod section here I saw 2 skins made by you India and LCroft. Those aren't in my game either. When I installed the build it can't connect to internet ( I have broadband ) so whatever it was looking for failed. I can play the game ok but I think I am missing a whole lot of things that have been added. I got the little update from your link 18-6-06 but that only contained text files no .gm files or textures. Any ideas on how I can fix this?
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

you need to download the Post Build 12 file, which is the 12.1 & can be found <a href="http://www.myhostingplan.net/piratesahoy/Akella/potc/post_b12_full.zip" target="_blank">Here</a> & unzip it directly into your POTC Folder.

I run about the same settings and visual bliss (7900gt). It is a fine game graphically. The sea battles are just beautiful. It only slows down graphically in certain town locations. Unsure the reason, because what i am looking at during the slow down, really shouldnt be causing it. *shrug*... its not all the time.

aye i have the same problem too. Sea battles are depending on ships and how many.

The slow down for me was actually due to something else completely unrelated.

After fixing that, I can now run at maximum the game allows, with no issues in slowdown at all.

I even gots the Antialiasing going on, and its smoooooooooth <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Talking about the PotC graphics: I tried putting some DLL files from AoP into PotC, but it didn't work and caused a crash. I did put the AoP sea textures into the latest Pre Build 13 update, but I don't find that it is a major improvement.

How did you adjust things like antialilaing
all i have for my options is <a href="http://img138.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1386859yl1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/8663/1386859yl1.th.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" /></a>

I am also curiuos on how to add Anti-aliasing and all the other good stuff <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

Antialiasing can be toggled from your graphic card settings window.

Right-click on your desktop, go Properties. There, on a page with resolutions, click Advanced. Choose the tab with your graphic card name on it. Down there, you can play around with all the settings.

Usually the antialiasing is set to "Application preferred", meaning that the programs switch it by themselves, but you can override it and force the antialiasing to the level you need.
